Tips for Keeping Your Dog’s World Clean as a Whistle
With our home being full of our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and growing even larger when we have a litter of Cavalier puppies, things could quickly get messy if we weren’t such big believers in keeping everything clean around the house!
What are our top tips for keeping things clean and our dogs healthy? Well, keeping all of our food and water bowls clean at all times is crucial. With fewer dogs in the house, it’s likely you only have one food and water bowl, but be sure you still wash them both every day warm water and dish soap or stick them in the dishwasher … after all, we wouldn’t consider eating our meals from dirty dishes or drinking from dirty cups, would we?
Dog beds can also harbor dirt and bacteria tracked in from the outside, so vacuum it once a week and if you have a bed cover on it, wash it once a week in hot water with a mild, perfume-free detergent.
